Phuong Nam Laundry Project - Vietnam Railways
To support the linen processing requirements of railway passenger services, PAN implemented the Phuong Nam industrial laundry project and successfully brought the system into operation according to the planned schedule.
During railway operations, washing and processing bed sheets, blankets, pillows, towels and other linen used by passengers are important parts of service preparation and daily operations. With regular linen processing requirements, an industrial laundry system needs to be designed according to actual operating capacity and requirements.
To meet these needs, PAN carried out the design, installation and implementation of a dedicated industrial laundry system for the Phuong Nam Laundry Project within the Vietnam Railways system.
Project Implementation and System Commissioning
The project was implemented by a team consisting of 02 engineers and 01 technician. PAN completed the installation and brought the industrial laundry system into operation within 05 working days.
The implementation process was carried out according to the actual operational requirements of the project, from equipment layout to the connection of the necessary technical systems required to complete the laundry facility.
Equipment Installed at the Project
The industrial laundry system was equipped with the following main equipment:
- 03 industrial washing machines with a capacity of 120 kg per load.
- 01 industrial washing machine with a capacity of 67 kg per load.
- 02 industrial dryers with a capacity of 80 kg per load.
- Hydraulic system.
- Boiler system.
- Water supply and drainage systems.
- Other technical systems required for operation.
The equipment and supporting systems were arranged to meet the linen processing requirements of the facility.
Supporting Linen Processing for Passenger Services
The laundry system operates for approximately 08 hours per day and supports the processing requirements for linen used in passenger services.
The industrial laundry facility helps provide a more organized approach to linen processing and supports service operations through an appropriate washing and finishing workflow.
The project also demonstrates PAN's experience in designing and implementing industrial laundry solutions based on the actual requirements of each operation.
