On June 19, 2021, the technical team of PAN Trading JSC began installing a medical laundry system for the laundry facility at Hue Central Hospital - Campus 2.

During the period when the COVID-19 pandemic was spreading rapidly across many localities, hygiene and infection control became increasingly important. Laundry processing for doctors and medical staff working on the front line also required greater attention.

Immediately after receiving an urgent request from the management of Hue Central Hospital to install a medical laundry system as quickly as possible, the management of PAN Trading JSC deployed its technical team from the Nha Trang branch in coordination with the Da Nang office to carry out this special project.

72 hours of intensive work by the PAN technical team

As the project was implemented under exceptional circumstances during the COVID-19 outbreak, the entire technical team was required to complete medical declarations, testing procedures and obtain negative COVID-19 test results before carrying out the work at the hospital.

After completing the necessary procedures, the technical team immediately began installing the laundry system. The implementation included:

• Moving the equipment into position on the foundation
• Securing the machine bases to the foundation
• Connecting the electrical system
• Connecting water supply and drainage systems
• Connecting steam and exhaust systems
• Setting washing and drying programs for the Fagor equipment
• Conducting no-load test runs of the industrial washing machines
• Conducting load test runs of the industrial washing machines
• Providing operating instructions and laundry procedures for the hospital's Infection Control Department and laundry management team
• Handing over the complete laundry facility, including Fagor industrial washing machines, industrial clothes dryers and industrial ironing equipment from Spain
• Commissioning the system and putting it into operation
• Preparing equipment records and maintenance plans for the entire system

Project completed in nearly 72 hours

The installation and handover project for the laundry facility at Hue Central Hospital - Campus 2 was completed after nearly 72 hours of continuous implementation. During a particularly challenging period, completing another medical laundry project was both a source of encouragement and an opportunity for Pan Trading JSC to make a small contribution to the healthcare sector's pandemic response efforts.
