In July 2021, as the COVID-19 situation became increasingly complex in Binh Duong, healthcare facilities faced growing operational demands. Alongside medical resources and personnel, laundry operations also needed to be maintained continuously to support healthcare activities.
During this period, PAN Trading JSC received an urgent request from Thuan An Medical Center to increase laundry capacity and ensure that its existing equipment could continue operating during the peak of the outbreak.
Urgent Laundry Requirements at Thuan An Medical Center
Thuan An Medical Center officially began receiving and treating COVID-19 patients on June 25, 2021. As the volume of textiles requiring processing increased, the laundry facility needed additional capacity to support operations under challenging conditions.
In addition to supplying new equipment, the existing washing machines also needed to be inspected, maintained and repaired in order to minimize interruptions to laundry operations.
In response to the medical center's request, PAN Trading JSC mobilized its technical team from Ho Chi Minh City to Thuan An to carry out the required work.
Additional 35 kg Industrial Washing and Drying Equipment
To increase laundry processing capacity, PAN Trading JSC supplied additional 35 kg industrial washing machines and dryers for the laundry facility at Thuan An Medical Center.
The equipment supply was carried out together with maintenance and repair work on the existing washing system. This approach allowed the facility to increase available capacity while maintaining the operation of its existing equipment during a period of increased demand.
On July 26, 2021, PAN Trading JSC completed the delivery, installation and maintenance of the equipment at the medical center's laundry facility.
Project Implementation During Social Distancing
The project was carried out under particularly challenging circumstances. At the time, the COVID-19 outbreak was intensifying across southern Vietnam, while many provinces and cities were implementing social distancing measures under Directive 16.
To carry out the work at Thuan An Medical Center, the PAN Trading JSC technical team complied with requirements relating to health declarations, COVID-19 testing and official work assignment documentation.
Despite the restrictions affecting travel and on-site operations, the technical team completed the required work, including installation of the new equipment, system inspection and maintenance of the existing washing machines.
Completed on July 26, 2021, the project was one of the assignments carried out by PAN Trading JSC during a particularly challenging period for the healthcare sector. For the technical team, completing the equipment work as required was also a way to support the operation of the healthcare facility during the pandemic.
