IPSO BSG50 Stacked Laundry Equipment
The IPSO BSG50 combines a washer-extractor and tumble dryer in a stacked configuration designed to increase laundry processing capability while optimizing installation space. With a 50 lb (23 kg) capacity x 2, the BSG50 is suitable for commercial laundry operations that need greater processing capacity within a compact equipment configuration.
Space-saving stacked configuration
The BSG50 places the washer-extractor and tumble dryer in a vertical configuration, helping make efficient use of available floor space. This design is suitable for laundry facilities where floor area is limited but commercial processing capability remains important.
Combining washing and drying equipment in one stacked configuration also helps reduce the need to transfer laundry loads between separately positioned machines, supporting a more convenient workflow.
Washing and drying capacity
The BSG50 features a washer-extractor with a 6.3 cu. ft (178 L) cylinder volume and a tumble dryer with a 14.8 cu. ft (419 L) cylinder volume. The tumble dryer includes a standard reversing cylinder to support the drying process and distribution of laundry inside the cylinder.
The washer-extractor provides 9 cylinder speeds, from Gentle, Wash and Distribution through Very Low, Low, Medium, High, Very High and Ultra High. Its maximum extraction speed is 733 RPM with a 200 G-Force, supporting effective water extraction before the drying process.
EVOLIS Touch control
The IPSO BSG50 features EVOLIS Touch control, designed to provide an intuitive interface for daily operation. The control system supports wash and dry cycle operation while providing the information required by the operator.
EVOLIS Touch supports wireless communication for cloud programming and firmware updates. The system also supports automated service reminders and connection with IPSO Connect for equipment monitoring.
Designed for serviceability
The BSG50 uses fewer front fasteners to provide quicker access to key washer-extractor components when inspection or maintenance is required. This design supports service access and can help reduce the time required to reach key components.
The redesigned soap dispenser also incorporates a self-cleaning function, helping reduce manual cleaning requirements, downtime and associated labor costs.
Drying and exhaust requirements
The BSG50 tumble dryer provides 95,000 Btu/hr (27.8 kW) of heat input, with a 10-inch elliptical air outlet and 600 cfm airflow. Heating, gas and exhaust requirements should be considered when preparing the installation area and supporting infrastructure.
