PAN completed the design, installation, and commissioning of the Phuong Nam industrial laundry facility to support textile processing for passenger services within the Vietnam railway system.
During train operations, the processing of bed sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, and other textiles used for passengers is an important part of maintaining service quality. With regular textile processing requirements, the laundry facility needs to be designed according to the actual operating capacity and conditions.
To meet these requirements, PAN designed, constructed, and installed a dedicated industrial laundry system for the Phuong Nam laundry project under Vietnam Railways.
Implementation and Commissioning
With a project team consisting of two engineers and one technician, PAN completed the installation and commissioning of the laundry system within five working days.
The implementation was based on the project's actual operating requirements, including equipment layout and the connection of necessary technical systems to complete the laundry facility.
Equipment System at the Project
The laundry facility includes:
- 03 industrial washing machines with a capacity of 120 kg per batch.
- 01 industrial washing machine with a capacity of 67 kg per batch.
- 02 industrial dryers with a capacity of 80 kg per batch.
- Hydraulic system.
- Boiler system.
- Water supply and drainage systems.
- Related technical systems required for operation.
The equipment and supporting systems were arranged to meet the textile processing requirements of the facility.
Supporting Laundry Requirements for Passenger Services
The system operates for approximately 8 hours per day and supports the processing of textiles used in passenger services.
An industrial laundry system provides greater control over textile processing and supports service quality throughout daily operations.
The project also demonstrates PAN's capability to design and implement industrial laundry solutions according to the practical requirements of each customer.
