Industrial Laundry for Thuan An Medical Center

Beginning on April 27, 2021, Vietnam's fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic developed rapidly and presented significant challenges. In Binh Duong Province, the number of COVID-19 cases increased quickly, and Thuan An City Medical Center officially began receiving and treating COVID-19 patients on June 25, 2021.

Thuan An City Medical Center converted into a COVID-19 treatment facility

To meet the demand for COVID-19 treatment during the complex development of the pandemic, the Binh Duong Department of Health decided to convert Thuan An City Medical Center into a treatment facility for COVID-19 patients.

Thuan An City Medical Center officially began receiving and treating COVID-19 patients on June 25, 2021. The facility was established to receive and treat COVID-19 patients in Thuan An City and across Binh Duong Province.

The treatment facility had a capacity of 200 beds and separate entrance and exit gates to support patient and healthcare worker flow. Inside, dedicated departments and rooms were arranged together with medical equipment and supplies for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.

The facility's role was to organize the isolation, monitoring and treatment of people infected with COVID-19 in Binh Duong Province. Patients with severe conditions or complications requiring further intervention would be transferred to higher-level hospitals for continued monitoring and treatment.

Pan Trading JSC delivers 35 kg industrial washing and drying equipment

After receiving an urgent request from the management of Thuan An City Medical Center to increase laundry capacity and ensure that existing equipment could continue operating during the peak of the pandemic, Pan Trading JSC deployed its technical team from Ho Chi Minh City to maintain and repair the existing washing equipment at the laundry facility.

Pan Trading JSC also supplied additional 35 kg industrial washing and drying equipment to meet the increased demand for processing linen used by COVID-19 patients, supporting infection control efforts and helping reduce the risk of cross-contamination.

The work was carried out while the pandemic was spreading rapidly and many southern provinces and cities were implementing social distancing measures under Directive 16. Pan Trading JSC's technical team complied with medical declaration requirements, COVID-19 testing and work authorization procedures to carry out the project at Thuan An City Medical Center.

On July 26, 2021, Pan Trading JSC completed the delivery, installation and maintenance of the equipment at the laundry facility. The project was completed during an exceptional period of the COVID-19 pandemic and represented Pan Trading JSC's contribution to supporting the healthcare sector's disease prevention and control efforts.

Pan Trading JSC also recognizes the dedication of its technical team, who carried out the work under challenging conditions while ensuring the project schedule and the customer's operational requirements.
