TRANSFERON Tunnel Washer Configurations
TRANSFERON's technical documentation describes two tunnel washer versions: Transflex and Transflex Super. Both versions can be manufactured in Single-drum or Double-drum configurations, with available machine sizes from 7 to 20 compartments.
The appropriate configuration can be determined according to the required washing process, water flow arrangement, laundry throughput and specific requirements of the customer.
Transflex Design
Transflex combines Single-drum and Double-drum designs. The standard Transflex configuration includes 6 Double-drum sections and can be divided into a 4-zone system according to the water flow.
The system can operate either in the counter-flow bath direction or in the linen flow direction, allowing the washing process to be configured according to the requirements of the laundry operation.
Transflex Super Design
Transflex Super features a complete Double-drum design. Each outer drum has its own water lye box, allowing the bath level inside the drum to be adjusted through the water boxes.
The standard Transflex Super configuration is divided into four bath zones: pre-washing, main-washing, rinsing and neutralizing. These zones can be individually changed according to customer requirements.
Single-drum and Double-drum Configurations
TRANSFERON provides different drum configurations to accommodate different continuous washing processes. The choice between Single-drum and Double-drum execution can be determined according to the tunnel configuration and the required washing process.
The Double-drum configuration allows the washing process to be organized into separate treatment zones and provides control of the washing bath within the individual sections of the system.
