The IPSO ACL600-20 is a Chest Heated flatwork ironer designed for professional laundry operations. With a 600 mm roll diameter and a 2,000 mm working width, this model is suitable for ironing and finishing flat linen in commercial and industrial laundry facilities.
The ACL600-20 is available with gas, electric or steam heating. Its stated ironing capacity ranges from 98 to 109 kg/h, depending on the heating method, at 50% moisture retention.
Construction And Key Technologies
Flexible Chest With Even Pressure Distribution
The IPSO ACL600-20 features a one-piece, highly flexible chest manufactured using laser welding technology. According to the IPSO catalogue, the chest provides a 180–206° contact angle around the roll. Its self-adjusting design applies pressure evenly across the entire width and length of the roll, helping maintain consistent ironing quality.
Heating And Thermal Oil Circulation System
In the thermal oil heating configuration, circulated oil moves inside the chest to distribute heat evenly across its full width. The integrated heating and oil circulation system supports accurate temperature control and facilitates installation and start-up.
Steam heating is also available, with steam injected directly into the chest. Businesses can choose gas, electric or steam heating according to their available utilities and operational requirements.
Ironing Roll And Speed Control
The machine is equipped with a perforated steel roll featuring under-springing and 800 g/m² polyester felt padding. Suction through the roll helps ventilate moisture during the ironing process.
A fully enclosed planetary gearbox is mounted directly onto the roll. The frequency inverter drive enables variable speed control, with a standard ironing speed range of 1.5–6.5 m/min. An optional high-speed configuration provides a range of 3.5–14 m/min.
Control System And Linen Delivery Options
The standard readout control allows operators to set temperature and speed manually. An optional PLC touchscreen with 50 programs is also available. According to the catalogue, this configuration includes speed regulation and a modulating burner.
The ACL600-20 can be configured with either front or rear linen return. Front return helps save operating space and allows one-person operation, while rear return can be connected to a folder when required. The appropriate arrangement depends on the laundry layout and workflow.
