Fagor ECONOMIC SC-18 M Industrial Laundry Dryer
The Fagor ECONOMIC SC-18 M is an industrial laundry dryer from Fagor Professional's ECONOMIC line, designed for professional laundry operations requiring suitable drying capacity with flexible heating configurations.
The SC-18 M features a 330 L drum volume, with a capacity of 18.3 kg at a 1:18 ratio or 16.5 kg at a 1:20 ratio. The machine is available with electric, gas or steam heating.
Key Features of the Fagor SC-18 M
M Programmer
The SC-18 M is equipped with an M Programmer, allowing operators to control drying time and temperature. This provides flexibility when setting drying cycles according to laundry processing requirements.
Drum Reversing and Standard Frequency Inverter
The machine features standard reversing drum rotation and a standard frequency inverter. The drum motor has a power rating of 0.37 kW.
Galvanised Steel Drum
The SC-18 M features a galvanised steel drum with a diameter of 750 mm, a length of 746 mm and a volume of 330 L.
Efficient Airflow
The SC-18 M is equipped with an efficient airflow system and a large debris filter. The nominal airflow is 850 m³/h, with a 200 mm air outlet and a 0.25 kW fan motor.
OPL and Self-Service Flexibility
The machine is designed for flexible operation and customisation. The standard OPL dryer can be converted to a self-service version, while payment system options are available for self-service applications.
Large Door and Convenient Operation
The SC-18 M features a 574 mm door diameter. The door opening direction can be reversed, and the hinges allow the door to open up to 180º, providing convenient access for loading and unloading laundry.
Easy Maintenance Access
The control panel is designed for easy access. The machine also features a technical menu with statistics for technicians and maintenance operations through an external console.

Heating Configurations
Electric Heating
The electric configuration has an installed heating power of 18 kW and an installed electrical power of 18.67 kW. The evaporation capacity is 14.10 L/h and the hourly output is 28.3 kg/h.
Fagor offers a reduced-power option, with electric heating reduced from 18 kW to 12 kW for the SC-18 M.
Gas Heating
The gas configuration has an installed heating power of 20.5 kW and an installed electrical power of 0.67 kW.
Instant propane gas consumption G31 is 1.76 kg/h, while instant natural gas consumption G20 is 2.17 m³/h. The evaporation capacity is 16.3 L/h and the hourly output is 32.6 kg/h.
The gas inlet is 1/2" BSPP ISO 228-1.
Steam Heating
The steam configuration has an installed heating power of 30 kW and an installed electrical power of 0.67 kW.
At 8 barG, steam consumption is 53 kg/h. The standard steam pressure range is 6–9 barG.
For low-pressure steam, consumption at 5 barG is 57 kg/h, with a pressure range of 3–6 barG.
COOL DOWN Function
The SC-18 M includes a COOL DOWN function for cooling at the end of the drying cycle.
Design and Maintenance
The machine features white external panels, a galvanised steel drum and a design that provides easy access to components for maintenance.
The net dimensions of the SC-18 M are 785 × 1,125 × 1,694 mm. The net weight is 187 kg and the noise level is 64 dB.
The machine is CE approved.
