Fagor FED2-25 Industrial Stack Dryer
The Fagor FED2-25 is a two-drum industrial stack dryer designed to maximize drying capacity while making efficient use of available installation space. The model provides a capacity of 50 lb at a 1:18 ratio or 48 lb at a 1:20 ratio, with an hourly output of 79 lb/h and an evaporation capacity of 16.5 L/h.
Simple and intuitive M Control
The FED2-25 features M Control, an easy analog control system that allows operators to select drying time and temperature according to the requirements of each load. Its straightforward control design supports simple and intuitive operation in professional laundry environments.
Two drying drums in one machine
The FED2-25 integrates two drying drums into a single stack dryer, sharing one exhaust pipe and one electrical connection. The stacked configuration makes use of vertical space rather than requiring additional floor area, making it suitable for professional laundries where space efficiency is important.
Automatic drum reversal
The Auto-Reverse Drum function automatically changes the drum rotation direction during the drying cycle. This supports more uniform drying and helps reduce tangling of laundry inside the drum.
Frequency inverter
The FED2-25 uses a frequency inverter to control drum rotation speed and the reversing action. This provides controlled drum movement throughout the drying process.
Galvanized steel drum and filtration system
The drying drum is manufactured from galvanized steel. The machine also features a wide-surface filter drawer designed to improve airflow through the filtration area. The standard filter is made of stainless steel with a 0.3 mm hole diameter.
Radial airflow system
The FED2-25 uses a radial airflow circuit to support air circulation through the drying system and the drum during operation.
Large 180° opening door
The dryer is equipped with a large loading door that opens up to 180°, providing convenient access when loading and unloading laundry.
Direct drive and Cool Down function
The FED2-25 uses a gear motor with direct drive transmission. It also features Cool Down, a cooling function at the end of the drying cycle designed to help reduce wrinkling when the cycle finishes.
Electric or gas heating
The FED2-25 is available with either electric or gas heating, allowing businesses to select the configuration that best matches their available utilities and operating requirements.
