IPSO IH240 Barrier Washer-Extractor
IPSO IH240 is a Barrier Washer-Extractor designed for laundry systems requiring controlled linen flow between dirty and clean areas. It is a freestanding, high-spin machine suitable for professional laundry operations requiring a medium-capacity solution.
Barrier Washer-Extractor design
The IPSO IH240 is designed with two operating sides: the Loading side (Dirty side) and the Unloading side (Clean side). This configuration supports the separation of loading and unloading processes between designated areas and is suitable for environments requiring controlled linen processing.
The machine features a large door opening for convenient loading and unloading. Automatic Door Positioning helps position the door appropriately during operation.
Stainless steel construction and Smart Drum
The cabinet, drum and tub of the IPSO IH240 are made of stainless steel. This construction is suited to industrial laundry environments where equipment is regularly exposed to water, chemicals and heat.
The machine features a Smart Drum with a cascading surface shape that provides additional mechanical action during washing. The drum surface design supports enhanced interaction between textiles and the drum during the wash process.
The Golden Lock is a patented inner door lock mechanism designed by IPSO to support door control during operation.
High extraction performance
The IPSO IH240 reaches a maximum extraction speed of 939 rpm with a G Factor of 370. High-speed extraction helps remove water from textiles after washing, supporting reduced moisture levels for the following drying stage.
Water supply and drainage
The machine uses three water valves with 3/4" BSP connections. Permitted water pressure ranges from 100–600 kPa, with a recommended pressure range of 300–500 kPa.
The drain valve has a 76 mm outer diameter and a flow rate of up to 210 L/min, supporting efficient drainage during operation.
Heating system
The IPSO IH240 is configured with 18 kW electric heating and supports steam heating at 3–8 bar. The machine also supports hot water up to 90°C.
The heating configuration can be selected according to the available energy source and infrastructure of the laundry system.
Controls and wash programmes
The IPSO IH240 offers Evolis / Evolis Elite control options with a 7-inch touchscreen, allowing fully programmable and customizable cycles. The system features a user-friendly interface with built-in operating instructions and supports control content in 34 languages.
The Aries / Aries Elite control option provides fully programmable control with 20 pre-set programmes and memory for up to 99 programmes.
Automatic weighing and consumption management
The IPSO IH240 can be equipped with an Automatic Weighing System, which automatically adapts the amount of water and detergent according to the wash load.
This option supports the control of water and detergent consumption according to the actual load and can contribute to more efficient laundry operation.
Cloud-based laundry management
The IPSO IH240 can be equipped with a cloud-based platform that allows laundry operations to be monitored from different locations and at any time. This provides an option for improved equipment and operational monitoring.
