Fagor ADVANCE SR-28 TP2 Industrial Dryer
The Fagor ADVANCE SR-28 TP2 is a single-pocket industrial dryer from Fagor Professional. The model offers a capacity of 30.6 kg at a 1:18 ratio and 27.5 kg at a 1:20 ratio, with a 550 L drum volume.
TP2 Control and IoT Connectivity
The SR-28 TP2 features a 7-inch programmable colour touchscreen designed for easy operation. The machine includes a USB connection and the FagorKonnect online platform for programming, telemetry and data analysis through IoT.
The TP2 control supports 37 languages and can display on-screen videos, including announcements and operating instructions useful for self-service applications.
Drum and Drive System
The machine is equipped with a standard stainless steel drum and standard frequency inverter, with standard inversion of rotation. The SOFT TOUCH drum design features recessed perforations.
Three Heating Options
The SR-28 TP2 is available with electric, gas or steam heating according to the manufacturer’s configuration:
- Electric heating: 30 kW, with 31.15 kW installed electrical power.
- Gas heating: 41 kW, with 1.15 kW installed electrical power.
- Steam heating: 50.1 kW, with 1.15 kW installed electrical power.
For the standard steam configuration, the Fagor catalog specifies steam consumption of 89 kg/h at 8 barG, with a pressure range of 6–9 barG. The low-pressure steam configuration is specified at 93 kg/h at 5 barG, with a pressure range of 3–6 barG.
Airflow System
The SR-28 TP2 uses a Mixed Flow axial-radial airflow system combined with a large debris filter to support airflow through the drying process.
Operation and Maintenance
The dryer features a stainless steel filter drawer, large door diameter, reversible door opening direction and 180º opening hinges. The control panel provides easy access, while the technical menu includes statistics for technicians.
COOL DOWN provides cooling at the end of the drying cycle. The standard OPL dryer can be converted to a self-service version according to the manufacturer’s configuration.
Efficiency and Versatility
The SR-28 TP2 combines Mixed Flow axial-radial airflow with a large debris filter. The machine supports Wet Cleaning applications according to the manufacturer’s configuration and includes FagorKonnect connectivity as standard.
The cabinet uses a grey skinplate finish with a stainless steel effect. The machine is CE approved.
