Fagor FD2-35 Industrial Stack Dryer
Fagor FD2-35 is an industrial stack dryer from the Fagor Commercial Tumble Dryers – Green Evolution range. It features two drying drums arranged in one compact stack, with both drums sharing a single exhaust pipe and a single electric connection.
MP Control
The FD2-35 is equipped with MP Control, an electronic control system that provides control of the drying process, including drum speed selection, statistics, technical menu and alarms. The machine includes 10 standard programs that can be modified.
Auto-reverse and Frequency Inverter
Auto-reverse automatically reverses drum rotation during the drying process. According to Fagor, this improves drying uniformity and helps avoid tangling of large pieces.
The Frequency Inverter is standard and controls the drum rotating speed and reverse action.
Stainless Steel Drum and Lint Filter
The FD2-35 features a Stainless Steel Drum. Its wide-surface lint filter drawer is made of stainless steel and is designed to improve airflow.
The standard filter hole diameter is 0.3 mm, with 0.6 mm and 1.2 mm options available.
Mixed Flow and Soft Touch
Mixed Flow combines axial and radial airflow to improve airflow inside the drum and increase the efficiency of the drying process.
Soft Touch uses stamped drum perforations designed to handle textiles gently during drying, according to Fagor.
Large Loading Door and Direct Drive
The FD2-35 features a large loading door with a 180° opening, making loading and unloading easier.
Drum movement is transmitted through a gear motor with direct drive.
Cool Down
Cool Down is the end-of-cycle cooling function, described by Fagor as an anti-wrinkle function at the end of the cycle.
Capacity and Heating Options
According to Fagor's technical data, the FD2-35 has a capacity of 80 lb at 1:18 and 75 lb at 1:20. Its published hourly output is 116 lb/h, with an evaporation capacity of 18.6 L/h.

The FD2-35 measures 31 × 49 × 78 in (W × D × H). Its gross packing dimensions are 34 × 52 × 84 in.
Net weight is 290 lb and gross weight is 303 lb. Maximum airflow is specified at 589 CFU, with an 8 in duct size. Sound level is 64 dB.
Electrical Connections
For the electric model, Fagor specifies 230V III + T: 4 × 25 / 80A and 400V III + N + T: 5 × 10 / 40A.
For the gas model, the published configurations are 120V I / 230V I + N + T: 3 × 1.5 / 20A, 230V III + T: 3 × 1.5 / 20A and 400V III + N + T: 3 × 1.5 / 20A.
