IPSO IY600 is a high-capacity Softmount washer-extractor with a standard 60 kg capacity at a 1:10 loading ratio and a drum volume of approximately 600 L. It is designed for professional and industrial laundry operations that need to process large linen volumes in each wash cycle while maintaining consistent throughput.
With a capacity of up to 67 kg at a 1:9 loading ratio, the IY600 is intended for high-volume laundry systems where the balance between washing, extraction, drying and finishing capacity directly affects overall productivity.

The 601 L drum and 1035 mm drum diameter provide a configuration suited to large laundry loads. With a standard 60 kg capacity at 1:10, the IY600 can handle substantial quantities of towels, linen, uniforms, healthcare textiles and other professional laundry items in each cycle.

360 G extraction for efficient downstream processing
The IPSO IY600 reaches an extraction speed of 788 rpm with a G-Factor of 360 G. High-speed extraction helps remove moisture from linen before it moves to the dryer or subsequent finishing equipment.
At a 60 kg load, residual moisture has a significant impact on dryer workload. Extraction performance therefore becomes an important part of designing the overall capacity and energy efficiency of a high-volume laundry system.

High-volume water supply and drainage
The IY600 is equipped with three 1-inch water connections and two 76 mm drain outlets. The high-capacity water and drainage configuration supports filling and draining during large wash cycles and helps maintain the operating rhythm of the laundry.
The machine can operate with 90°C hot water, 54 kW electric heating or 3–8 bar steam heating depending on the selected configuration and available site utilities.
The heating method should be determined as part of the complete laundry design, taking into account available energy sources, operating costs and the capacity of the downstream drying system.
Evolis Elite control and connected laundry management
The IPSO IY600 is equipped with Evolis Elite control for programmable wash-cycle management. This supports the creation and management of different wash processes according to linen type, soil level and operational requirements.
IPSO also provides IPSO Connect for connected commercial laundry operations. With a compatible configuration, the platform can provide centralized visibility into machine status, cycle information, alerts, reporting and wash traceability.
For larger laundry facilities operating multiple machines or processing areas, access to operating data can help managers monitor productivity, identify issues and evaluate resource consumption over time.
Optional forward tilting for linen handling
The IPSO IY600 can be configured with forward tilting. This option can support the unloading of linen and the transfer of processed goods toward the next stage of the laundry workflow.
For a machine handling loads of up to 60 kg, the unloading method should be considered together with linen carts, dryers and downstream finishing equipment. The tilting option is therefore best evaluated as part of the overall laundry layout rather than as an isolated machine feature.
