The IPSO IA520 is a Hardmount industrial washer-extractor designed to be securely anchored to a concrete floor. With a 520 L drum volume and a capacity of 52–58 kg per load depending on the loading ratio, the IA520 is designed for professional laundry facilities handling high textile volumes and requiring robust, stable equipment for continuous operation.
Hardmount construction for high-capacity washing
The Hardmount design securely anchors the IA520 to the floor, providing stability when processing large laundry loads. This construction is well suited to centralized laundry systems, commercial laundries and other environments with high operating frequency.
The machine features a stainless steel drum and tub. Its Smart Drum uses a specially developed drum surface to support effective washing performance, while the large door opening makes loading and unloading more convenient. Key service components are accessible from the front to support inspection and maintenance.
520 L drum volume with 52–58 kg capacity
With a 520 L drum, the IA520 provides a 52 kg capacity at a 1:10 loading ratio or 58 kg at a 1:9 ratio. This capacity range is suitable for facilities that need to process large textile volumes per load and increase productivity without dividing the workload into too many smaller cycles.
The appropriate loading ratio should be selected according to textile type, process characteristics and actual operating volume. Using the appropriate loading ratio helps maintain washing effectiveness and textile quality throughout the process.
440 rpm extraction with 100G Factor
The IA520 operates at 38 rpm during washing and reaches 440 rpm during extraction, corresponding to a 100G Factor. This configuration reflects the machine's focus on high-capacity processing, stable operation and professional laundry applications.
The 100G extraction level allows operators to consider moisture removal according to textile characteristics and downstream process requirements. When designing the complete laundry line, the capacity and operating method of the drying system should be considered together with the washer's processing capacity.
High-capacity water inlet system
With a 520 L drum, the IA520 is equipped with a high-capacity water inlet system delivering 183–518 L/min. This is an important specification for a high-load washer, as an appropriate water supply supports efficient filling during wash cycles with substantial water demand.
The machine uses two Ø76 mm drain valves, each providing a flow rate of 210 L/min. The combination of high-capacity water inlet and dual drainage supports the requirements of large-scale wash cycles.
Controls and system integration
The IA520 uses the Aries control system, with the Aries Elite option available for greater programming flexibility. The control system is designed to make wash program management straightforward while allowing processes to be organized according to different textile requirements.
Depending on the installation, the machine can be configured with liquid soap connections, liquid soap pumps, USB connectivity and suitable water inlet options. Heating can be configured for electric, steam or hot water according to the project's infrastructure and operating requirements.
