IPSO IA80 Medium-Speed Hardmount Washer-Extractor
The IPSO IA80 is a Hardmount washer-extractor from the IPSO industrial laundry range, designed with a rigid floor-mounted construction for stable operation. It provides an 8 kg capacity at a 1:10 loading ratio and 9 kg at 1:9, making it suitable for professional laundry operations handling smaller laundry loads.
Stable and durable Hardmount construction
Unlike Softmount machines that use suspension systems to reduce vibration transmission, the IPSO IA80 is designed to be anchored directly to a concrete floor. This rigid construction provides stability during operation and suits laundry facilities prepared with a permanent equipment foundation.
The stainless steel drum and tub are designed for regular use in professional laundry environments. The Hardmount construction also provides stable operation when processing loads with varying weight and distribution.
200 G extraction for controlled textile processing
The IPSO IA80 achieves a G-Factor of 200 G with an extraction speed of up to 820 rpm. This provides effective moisture removal after washing while maintaining the characteristics of the IPSO Hardmount range for stable professional laundry processing.
IPSO positions its Hardmount range with slower spin cycles than high-speed Softmount equipment, making it particularly suitable for more sensitive textiles such as wool, lace and silk. This is an important consideration when selecting equipment based on textile characteristics rather than capacity alone.
Smart Drum and efficient drainage
IPSO's Smart Drum features a specially designed surface texture intended to enhance washing performance. The large drain valve supports faster water removal, helping shorten wash cycles and improve overall laundry productivity.
The IA80 uses a 3/4-inch water connection with a 20 L/min inlet flow and a Ø76 mm drain valve with a 210 L/min drain flow, matching the requirements of its 75 L drum.
Operator-friendly design
The large door opening provides convenient access for loading and unloading laundry. The ergonomically designed soap hopper supports easier daily operation, while the control panel is positioned for straightforward machine handling.
The machine also supports liquid soap connections and features a USB port as part of the IA80-135 configuration, allowing integration into professional laundry workflows.

With an 8–9 kg capacity per cycle, the IPSO IA80 is suitable for hotels, restaurants, accommodation facilities, care facilities, service businesses, on-premises laundries and other operations with small to medium laundry volumes.
