Fagor LA-28 TP2 High Spin Industrial Washing Machine is a medium-capacity industrial washer designed for professional laundry operations requiring high-volume textile processing and efficient high-speed extraction. As part of Fagor Professional's High Spin Washer range, the LA-28 TP2 provides a load capacity of up to 31 kg and is equipped with Touch Plus Control TP2.
With a load capacity of 31 kg at a 1:9 loading ratio or 28 kg at 1:10, the LA-28 TP2 is suitable for industrial laundries, hotels, resorts, healthcare facilities, care homes and other professional laundry operations handling significant textile volumes.
High-speed extraction with G-Factor 450
The Fagor LA-28 TP2 reaches a G-Factor of 450 and a maximum spinning speed of 1,024 rpm. High-speed extraction helps remove moisture from textiles after washing, supporting shorter drying times and improved overall laundry workflow efficiency.
The machine features a 280-litre drum with a 770 mm diameter and 585 mm depth. Its 460 mm door diameter provides convenient access for loading and unloading larger laundry loads.
Touch Plus Control TP2
The LA-28 TP2 is equipped with Touch Plus Control TP2 with a 7-inch touchscreen. The system provides programmable operation, USB connectivity and an online platform for programming, telemetry and data analysis through IoT connectivity.
TP2 supports 37 languages and includes 8 standard dosing signals, allowing integration with automatic chemical dosing systems used in professional laundry facilities.
Efficiency-focused operation
Fagor LA-28 TP2 incorporates functions designed to support efficient operation, including Intelligent Consumption, Optimal Loading and preparation for KRS water recovery systems.
The machine supports OPL and COIN configurations and can be supplied with electric or hot-water heating. Wet Cleaning functions are included in the programmer, providing additional flexibility for professional textile-care processes.
Drum and machine construction
The drum and tub are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel. The suspended-drum design is combined with electronic imbalance control and frequency control to support stable operation during washing and high-speed extraction.
The LOADING AID system supports water and drum rotation control during loading. The machine also features a four-compartment detergent dispenser and can be configured with options such as automatic weighing, additional dosing signals, FULL FLOW water recirculation, silicone gasket and reversible door opening.
Heating and connections
The LA-28 TP2 can be configured with electric, hot-water or steam heating. The electric version provides 18 kW of electric heating power and a total electric power rating of 19.2 kW. The hot-water and steam configuration has a total electric power rating of 4 kW.
The steam version uses a 3/4-inch steam inlet with maximum steam consumption of 15 kg/h. The water inlet is 3/4 inch, with a required water pressure of 2–4 kg/cm². Water consumption is specified at 182 litres/hour in ECO mode and 224 litres/hour at 60°C.
The machine uses a 3-inch drain with a drainage capacity of up to 200 litres/minute, supporting the requirements of professional industrial laundry systems.
IoT connectivity and laundry management
FagorKonnect IoT connectivity is included as standard on the LA-28 TP2, supporting data management and remote technical service. The machine also supports OPL and COIN laundry management, providing flexibility for different professional laundry operating models.
Available options include chemical dosing systems, automatic weighing, double drainage, FULL FLOW water recirculation, steam conversion kits, coin/token kits and other configurations according to project requirements.
