Fagor LBS-50 TP2 Sanitary Barrier Washer
The Fagor LBS-50 TP2 is a 2-door sanitary barrier washer from the LBS range, designed to be installed between dirty and clean laundry areas. Its pass-through configuration helps maintain separation between the two areas during laundry loading and unloading, supporting hygiene control and reducing the risk of recontamination during the laundry process.
With a capacity of 49 kg at a 1:10 loading ratio and a 489 L drum, the LBS-50 TP2 is suitable for professional laundries handling large laundry volumes within a controlled washing process.
2-Door Sanitary Barrier Design
The LBS-50 TP2 features two opposing doors, allowing laundry to be loaded from the dirty side and unloaded from the clean side after the washing cycle. The pass-through configuration supports a controlled flow of laundry between separate areas.
The machine features a large door opening and an 800 mm door-bottom height, combined with a push-button drum opening mechanism to facilitate loading and unloading.
Touch Plus Control TP2
The LBS-50 TP2 uses the Touch Plus Control TP2 system with a 7-inch touch screen, designed for intuitive programming and operation. The LBS configuration uses a double-display system to support operation and information access from both sides of the machine.
The system supports USB connectivity and free online software for programming, telemetry and data analysis. TP2 supports 37 languages, on-screen instructional videos and 8 standard dosing signals.
Extraction Performance with G-Force 375
The LBS-50 TP2 reaches a G-Force of 375 with a maximum spin speed of 920 rpm. High extraction performance helps reduce residual moisture after washing, supporting shorter drying times and improved efficiency throughout the laundry process.
For laundries processing large volumes of textiles, extraction performance is an important factor when optimising the drying stage and overall energy use.
Consumption Management and Load Optimisation
The LBS-50 TP2 includes Intelligent Consumption and Optimal Load functions to support resource management according to the laundry load and selected washing programme. The machine is also ready to connect to KRS water recovery systems.
These functions provide additional control over water use and help adapt the washing process to actual load conditions.
Chemical Dosing System
The LBS-50 TP2 provides 8 standard chemical dosing signals and is ready to connect to dosing pumps. An optional relay card can add 6 additional signals, providing up to 14 dosing signals.
A 4-compartment detergent box is also available as an option for processes using multiple chemical products at different stages.
Wet Cleaning Ready
The LBS-50 TP2 is prepared for Wet Cleaning functions, providing additional flexibility for textiles requiring specialised wet-cleaning processes.
Flexible Heating Configurations
The LBS-50 TP2 can be configured with electric heating, steam heating or Dual Heating combining electric and steam. The appropriate configuration can be selected according to the available utilities and operational requirements of each laundry facility.
A low-pressure steam configuration at 0.5 bar is also available for facilities with specific steam infrastructure requirements.
Construction and Materials
The LBS-50 TP2 drum and outer tub are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel. The standard outer casing uses grey skinplate, providing a practical surface for professional laundry environments and easy cleaning.
The machine incorporates a frequency inverter for imbalance control. Three water inlets and a central drain are included in the standard configuration.
Automatic Drum Positioning
The automatic drum positioning system with motor brake brings the drum into a suitable position for loading and unloading. This helps reduce manual handling and improves operator convenience during daily operation.
A Pullman drum is also available as an option, providing additional flexibility for load distribution and specific laundry processing requirements.
Connectivity and Data Management
Telemetry is standard on the LBS-50 TP2, supporting monitoring and analysis of operating data. IoT connectivity through FagorKonnect provides additional capabilities for laundry data management and remote technical service.
The TP2 system also includes a technical menu with statistics, alarms, autotest and data recovery functions, supporting maintenance and technical diagnostics.
Service-Friendly Design
Electrical components are positioned on the left side, mechanical components on the right and connections at the top. The connections are protected from water and detergents, supporting access for inspection and maintenance.
A central drain is included as standard, while double drainage and side drain configurations are available as options depending on installation requirements.

The LBS-50 TP2 offers a range of configuration options, including one-door opening for single-side operation, Pullman drum, Auto Weight, additional dosing signals, double drainage, titration valve, side drain valve, low-pressure steam, 4-compartment detergent box, UPS, end-of-cycle light, loading-height plinth, AISI 304 outer casing and AISI 304 sanitary frame.
The final configuration should be selected according to the laundry process, laundry volume, available space and the site's electrical, water and steam infrastructure.
