Fagor LMED-16 TP2 Sanitary Barrier Washer
Fagor LMED-16 TP2 belongs to the LMED sanitary barrier washer range, designed for laundry processes that require separation between dirty and clean linen areas. The machine is installed between two separate areas with opposed doors, helping prevent contact between dirty and clean linen and reduce the risk of re-contamination during processing.

Two-door pass-through barrier design
The LMED-16 TP2 features two opposed 180° doors in a pass-through barrier washer configuration. Linen is loaded from one side and unloaded from the opposite side, supporting a controlled linen flow between dirty and clean areas.

7-inch Touch Plus Control TP2
The machine features the Touch Plus Control TP2 microprocessor with a 7-inch touchscreen located on the dirty side. The system is fully programmable and supports programme customisation according to operational requirements.
TP2 supports 37 languages, a USB port and free online software for programming, telemetry and data analysis. The entire washing process can be stored to support programme control and hygiene requirements.
The machine includes 8 standard chemical dosing signals and can be expanded with 6 additional signals through the optional relay card.
High extraction performance with G-Force 350
The Fagor LMED-16 TP2 reaches a G-Force of 350, helping reduce residual moisture in linen after extraction. Lower residual moisture supports shorter drying times and contributes to improved efficiency throughout the laundry process.
The machine uses a frequency inverter to control imbalance during operation, supporting stable performance throughout washing and extraction cycles.
Water and chemical savings
The LMED-16 TP2 incorporates functions designed to optimise resource consumption. Smart Consumption automatically adjusts water and detergent consumption according to the programme, while Optimum Load supports appropriate load management.
The system allows three levels of water and chemical savings to be configured. The machine is also prepared for connection to the WREC water recovery system, supporting projects focused on reducing water and energy consumption.
According to Fagor Professional's catalogue, the barrier washer range achieves water consumption of less than 8.2 litres per kg and cycle under the standard 60°C programme.
Wet Cleaning ready
The LMED-16 TP2 is equipped with the features required for Wet Cleaning programmes. This provides an option for facilities that need different cleaning processes for specific types of linen.

Ergonomic operating design
The LMED-16 TP2 features a large door opening to make loading and unloading easier. The push-button drum opening mechanism supports simple operation during daily use.
The door base height is 670 mm. An optional plinth is available to increase the door base height to 850 mm when required by the operating environment.
Construction and maintenance
The LMED-16 TP2 features an AISI 304 stainless steel drum and vat. The standard outer casing uses grey skinplate with a stainless steel upper panel, providing an easy-to-clean surface.
Electrical components are positioned on the left, mechanical components on the right and connections at the top of the machine. The connections are protected from water and detergents, supporting easier access and maintenance.
The machine features a central drain as standard and a technician menu with statistics, alarms, autotest and data recovery functions for technical service and after-sales maintenance.
Heating configurations
The LMED-16 TP2 supports three heating configurations: electric, steam and dual heating combining electric and steam. The appropriate configuration can be selected according to the project's energy infrastructure and technical requirements.
Optional configurations
The LMED-16 TP2 can be configured with a second 7-inch screen on the clean side, Auto Weight automatic weighing, 6 additional dosing signals, a third water inlet, double drain, titration valve, side drain valve and a four-compartment detergent box.
Other options include an electric drum motor brake, UPS, end-of-cycle light alarm, loading-height plinth, AISI 304 stainless steel outer casing, AISI 304 sanitary frame and alternative voltage configurations.
