IPSO FDC6 Industrial Drying Cabinet for Protective Clothing
The IPSO FDC6 is a specialized drying cabinet designed for protective clothing, particularly garments used by fire brigades. It uses a gentle drying process without mechanical action to help protect the special impregnation of protective garments.
Designed for Fire Brigade Clothing
The FDC6 can dry up to 6 large overalls, equivalent to a loading capacity of 20 kg. Removable hangers and racks make it easier to handle and arrange firefighters’ clothing inside the cabinet.
Optional stainless steel racks are available for gloves and boots, together with optional hangers for drying these accessories.
Drying from the Outside and Inside
The IPSO FDC6 uses two heating systems to support the drying process from both the outside and inside of the garments. This design is intended to provide short drying times while maintaining a gentle, friction-free drying process.
Gentle Drying for Special Protective Garments
The FDC6 drying procedure does not use mechanical action on the garments. According to the manufacturer, this helps prevent the special impregnation of protective clothing from becoming hardened.
This characteristic is particularly relevant for protective garments that require careful drying after cleaning or use.
Automatic and Timed Drying Programs
The FDC6 provides three automatic programs and one timed drying program. At the end of the drying cycle, the program finishes with a cool-down phase to room temperature.
Humidity Tracking System
The humidity tracking system measures the humidity level every second to determine when the textiles are dry. IPSO states a drying time of up to 42 minutes for the product.
Internal Lighting and Practical Design
The FDC6 features internal lighting to make it easier to inspect and arrange protective clothing. Its cabinet design also provides convenient access for loading and unloading garments.
