Fagor PI-25/140 M PLUS Wall Ironer
The Fagor PI-25/140 M PLUS is a flatwork ironer from the Wall Ironers PLUS range, designed for establishments that require higher productivity while still prioritizing a compact machine, simple installation and efficient use of space.
The machine features a 250 mm diameter ironing roll, a 1,400 mm working width and a theoretical production of 42 kg/h. Compared with the standard PI-25 M configuration, the PLUS version is equipped with variable-speed inverter control, standard Nomex ironing belts and an extraction system to support operation according to actual ironing requirements.
Automatic Speed Management According to Temperature
The PI-25/140 M PLUS features an automatic mode that manages ironing speed according to the selected temperature. The electronic control system also displays speed and temperature, allowing operators to monitor the main operating parameters during use.
The ironing speed can be adjusted between 1.5 and 6 m/min. This variable-speed capability allows the machine to adapt to different linen types and operating conditions.
Nomex Ironing Belts and Extraction System
The PI-25/140 M PLUS is equipped with Nomex ironing belts, an extraction system and variable-speed inverter control. These are key features of the PLUS version, designed by Fagor to increase machine productivity.
The machine has one 80 mm diameter fume outlet with an airflow of 500 m³/h. The extraction system supports the handling of vapour and air in the ironing area.
Convenient Operating Design
Unlike the standard PI-25 M, which uses a roll lifting mechanism, the PI-25/140 M PLUS does not have roll lifting. Its operating design follows the way a flatwork ironer is used, providing a more ergonomic method of feeding linen into the machine.
The machine provides a 1,400 mm working width and a large contact area between the linen and the ironing roll. Its construction includes an industrial-grade roll shaft and bearings, together with redesigned kinematics for improved reliability during operation.
Processing Linen with Higher Residual Moisture
The PI-25/140 M PLUS can iron linen with residual moisture of up to 25%. According to Fagor documentation, the PLUS models are designed to accept linen with higher residual moisture, while 5–10% moisture is recommended for the other models.
Compact Design, Easy Installation and Maintenance
The machine has a compact construction suitable for laundry areas with limited space. Installation requires only an electrical connection, and access from both sides facilitates inspection and maintenance.
The PI-25/140 M PLUS features grey skinplate panels combined with stainless steel components and a wooden feeding table. The bearings can be dismantled quickly, making maintenance more convenient.
