Fagor PSP-50/260 TP2 Wall Flatwork Ironer
The Fagor PSP-50/260 TP2 is an industrial flatwork ironer with a 500 mm diameter roll and a 2,600 mm working width, belonging to Fagor's Ø500 Wall Flatwork Ironer range. It is designed for medium-sized laundries requiring higher flat linen processing capacity while retaining the option to integrate longitudinal folding.
The machine is equipped with the TP2 control system and a 7-inch touchscreen. The system supports programmable operation, 37 languages, 5 preset programs and USB connectivity. Fagor also provides an online platform for programming, telemetry and operational data analysis through IoT connectivity.
84 kg/h theoretical production in the standard configuration
In the standard configuration with front or rear outlet, the PSP-50/260 TP2 provides a theoretical production of 84 kg/h with electric, atmospheric gas or steam heating. The radiant gas heating version reaches 100 kg/h.
According to Fagor's technical documentation, these production figures are specified at 45% residual moisture and with 100% use of the ironing roll surface.
When equipped with the longitudinal folder, production varies according to the selected configuration. With a front outlet, the machine provides 59 kg/h with electric, atmospheric gas or steam heating and 70 kg/h with radiant gas heating. With both front and rear outlets, the corresponding production figures are 55 kg/h and 65 kg/h.
500 mm roll and 2,600 mm working width
The PSP-50/260 TP2 features a polished steel roll with a 500 mm diameter and a 2,600 mm working width. Its large contact surface with the linen reaches 305°, supporting heat transfer and flat linen finishing throughout the ironing process.
The machine uses high-temperature-resistant Nomex ironing belts. Its reinforced mechanical structure and component layout provide access from both sides for inspection and maintenance.
Automatic ironing-speed regulation according to residual moisture
The PSP-50/260 TP2 features automatic regulation of ironing speed according to the residual moisture of the linen. This allows the machine to adapt the ironing process to actual linen conditions rather than relying on a fixed operating speed.
The standard working speed ranges from 0.5 to 8 m/min. When the longitudinal folder is installed, the working speed ranges from 2 to 8 m/min.
Three heating options
The PSP-50/260 TP2 is available with electric, gas or steam heating, providing different energy-source configurations for professional laundry operations.
The electric version has a heating power of 40.5 kW and a total electric power of 41.41 kW. The gas version has a heating power of 55 kW and a total electric power of 0.91 kW. The steam version has a heating power of 64 kW, steam consumption of 67 kg/h and total electric power of 0.91 kW.
The radiant gas version provides a theoretical production of 100 kg/h in the standard configuration, compared with 84 kg/h for the atmospheric gas heating configuration.
Optional longitudinal folding
Fagor offers an optional longitudinal folder for the PSP-50/260 TP2. Depending on the selected system configuration, the machine can be arranged with a front outlet or with both front and rear outlets.
This allows the laundry to select a finishing configuration according to its workflow, available space and output requirements. A rear outlet is also available as a separate option for the machine configuration.
TP2 control and operational management
The TP2 system uses a 7-inch touchscreen and a programmable operating interface. The machine has 5 standard programs, USB connectivity and access to an online platform for programming, telemetry and operational data analysis.
The machine also features automatic shutdown when the temperature falls to 80°C. A lower hot-air circulation circuit is designed to help reduce energy consumption during operation.
Designed for medium-sized laundries
With a 2,600 mm working width, a 1,170 mm feeding-belt height and a wall flatwork ironer design, the PSP-50/260 TP2 is suitable for laundries requiring higher flat linen processing capacity while maintaining efficient use of installation space.
The machine is designed to dry and iron flat linen in a single operation when linen is supplied from a high-spin washer extractor. Suitable applications include bed sheets, towels, tablecloths and other flat linen.
