Fagor PS-35/200 M PLUS Wall Flatwork Ironer
The Fagor PS-35/200 M PLUS is a wall flatwork ironer designed for professional laundry operations, featuring a 325 mm diameter roll and a 2,000 mm working width. The machine is designed to dry and iron flat linen in a single operation, providing a compact solution for professional laundries requiring higher productivity and practical operation.
The PLUS version features Fagor's M electronic control with Auto mode, which automatically manages ironing speed according to the selected temperature. A digital display shows ironing speed and temperature, making the machine straightforward to monitor and operate.
Drying and ironing in a single operation
The PS-35/200 M PLUS can dry and iron flat linen from a high-spin washer extractor in a single operation. The machine uses a polished steel roll with a diameter of 325 mm and provides a 270° contact angle with the linen, creating a large contact surface during ironing.
The working speed can be adjusted from 1.5 to 12 m/min. The theoretical production is 50 kg/h with electric heating and 65 kg/h with radiant gas heating. Evaporation power is rated at 29 l/h. Fagor specifies these theoretical production figures at 45% moisture.
M electronic control with Auto mode
The M electronic control is designed for simple and user-friendly operation. Its Auto mode automatically manages ironing speed according to the selected temperature, while the digital display provides speed and temperature information.
The machine also features automatic shutdown at 80°C, with the parameter adjustable, together with a built-in cool-down system to support safer operation after the ironing cycle.
Roll drive and ironing belts
The roll is driven by a speed inverter, allowing the machine to operate across a working speed range of 1.5–12 m/min. The machine is equipped with Nomex quality ironing belts designed to withstand high temperatures.
The machine panels are made from skinplate and stainless steel. The coiled felt and strips guide system is designed to support durability during continuous operation.
Electric or radiant gas heating
The PS-35/200 M PLUS is available with electric or radiant gas heating. The electric version has 31.5 kW of heating power and a total electric power rating of 32.27 kW. The gas version has 40 kW of gas heating and a total electric power rating of 0.77 kW.
Fagor states that the radiant gas burners provide a 33% productivity increase. The technical table does not list a steam-heated version for this model.
Fume extraction and operation
The PS-35/200 M PLUS has two fume outlets with a diameter of 98 mm and an air flow of 1,000 m³/h. The bottom fumes circulation circuit is designed to reduce energy consumption during operation.
The floor-feeding belt height is 990 mm. Linen is fed and returned from the front, while access to machine components from both sides facilitates maintenance.
Configuration and options
The PS-35/200 M PLUS is equipped with two programs, Nomex quality ironing belts and speed inverter drive. The optional IMC system provides automatic regulation of ironing speed according to residual moisture.
An optional nickel-plated roll is also available to provide increased corrosion resistance and durability. Electrical options include 440V III 60Hz marine voltage without neutral for electric models and 230V III 50–60Hz.
Applications
With a 2,000 mm working width, 325 mm roll diameter and theoretical production of up to 50 kg/h with electric heating or 65 kg/h with radiant gas heating, the Fagor PS-35/200 M PLUS is suitable for professional laundry operations requiring higher flatwork ironing productivity while maintaining a compact machine configuration and straightforward control.
The machine can be used for flat linen such as towels, bed sheets, tablecloths, napkins and other flat textile products processed in professional laundry operations.
