Fagor PSP-50/200 TP2 Wall Flatwork Ironer
The Fagor PSP-50/200 TP2 is an industrial flatwork ironer with a 500 mm diameter roll and a 2,000 mm working width, designed for medium-sized laundries requiring high-capacity flat linen finishing in a compact footprint.
The machine is equipped with the TP2 control system and a 7-inch touchscreen, allowing operators to program and manage the ironing process directly from the machine. It supports 37 languages, includes 5 preset programs and provides USB connectivity. Fagor also offers an online platform for programming, telemetry and data analysis through IoT connectivity.
Production capacity for different configurations
In the standard configuration with front or rear outlet, the PSP-50/200 TP2 provides a theoretical production of 68 kg/h with electric, atmospheric gas or steam heating. The radiant gas heating version reaches 82 kg/h.
The machine can also be equipped with an optional longitudinal folder. With a longitudinal folder and front outlet, theoretical production is 48 kg/h for electric, atmospheric gas or steam heating and 57 kg/h for radiant gas heating. With front and rear outlets, the corresponding figures are 44 kg/h and 53 kg/h.
TP2 control and automatic ironing-speed regulation
The TP2 control system allows operating parameters to be programmed through the touchscreen interface. The machine features automatic regulation of ironing speed according to the residual moisture of the linen, helping the ironing process adapt to actual linen conditions during operation.
The standard working speed ranges from 0.5 to 8 m/min. When the longitudinal folder is installed, the working speed ranges from 2 to 8 m/min.
500 mm roll and efficient heat transfer
The PSP-50/200 TP2 uses a polished steel roll with a 500 mm diameter and a contact angle of up to 305°. The roll design and materials are intended to support efficient heat transfer and energy consumption control during ironing.
The machine uses high-temperature-resistant Nomex ironing belts. Its reinforced mechanical structure and access to components from both sides are designed to facilitate inspection and maintenance.
Heating systems and energy management
The PSP-50/200 TP2 is available with electric, gas or steam heating. The machine incorporates a lower hot-air circulation circuit designed to reduce energy consumption. Automatic shutdown takes place when the temperature falls to 80°C, with this parameter being adjustable.
The radiant gas heating version is designed for higher production than the standard heating configurations. For the PSP-50/200 TP2, Fagor specifies a theoretical production of 82 kg/h for the radiant gas configuration under the catalogue's 45% residual moisture condition.
Optional longitudinal folding
A key feature of the PSP-50/200 TP2 is the possibility of integrating an optional longitudinal folder. Depending on the selected configuration, the machine can be arranged with a front outlet or with both front and rear outlets, allowing the finishing process to be adapted to the laundry's workflow and available space.
For facilities requiring a more complete finishing process, Fagor also offers an optional cross folder depending on the selected system configuration.
Designed for medium-sized laundries
With a 2,000 mm working width, a 1,170 mm feeding-belt height and a compact design, the PSP-50/200 TP2 is suitable for processing flat linen such as towels, bed sheets, tablecloths and similar textile items.
The machine is designed to dry and iron flat linen in a single operation when linen is supplied from a high-spin washer extractor. An integrated cooling system helps complete the operating cycle before shutdown.
