Fagor PS-35/260 M PLUS Wall Flatwork Ironer
The Fagor PS-35/260 M PLUS is a wall flatwork ironer featuring a 325 mm diameter roll and a 2,600 mm working width. It is designed to dry and iron flat linen from a high-spin washer extractor in a single operation, providing a high-capacity solution for professional laundry operations.
The PLUS version features Fagor's M electronic control with Auto mode, which automatically manages ironing speed according to the selected temperature. A digital display shows ironing speed and temperature for straightforward operation and monitoring.
2,600 mm working width and high productivity
The PS-35/260 M PLUS has a 2,600 mm working width, a 990 mm floor-feeding belt height and a 325 mm diameter polished steel roll. The roll provides a 270° contact angle with the linen, creating a large contact surface during ironing.
The working speed ranges from 1.5 to 12 m/min. Theoretical production is 60 kg/h with electric heating and 75 kg/h with radiant gas heating. Evaporation power is 34 l/h. Fagor specifies these theoretical production figures at 45% moisture.
M electronic control with Auto mode
The M electronic control is designed for simple and user-friendly operation. Auto mode automatically manages ironing speed according to the selected temperature, while the digital display shows speed and temperature information.
The machine provides two programs and features automatic shutdown at 80°C, with the parameter adjustable. A built-in cool-down system is also included.
Speed inverter and Nomex ironing belts
The roll is driven by a speed inverter, allowing the machine to operate across a working speed range of 1.5–12 m/min. The PS-35/260 M PLUS is equipped with Nomex quality ironing belts designed to withstand high temperatures.
The machine panels are made from skinplate and stainless steel. The coiled felt and strips guide system is designed to support durability during operation.
Electric or radiant gas heating
The PS-35/260 M PLUS is available with electric or radiant gas heating. The electric version has 40.5 kW of heating power and a total electric power rating of 42.27 kW. The gas version has 55 kW of gas heating and a total electric power rating of 0.77 kW.
Fagor states that its radiant gas burners provide a 33% productivity increase. No steam-heated configuration is listed for this model in the manufacturer's technical data.
Fume extraction system
The PS-35/260 M PLUS has two fume outlets with a diameter of 98 mm and an air flow of 1,000 m³/h. The bottom fumes circulation circuit is designed to reduce energy consumption during operation.
Linen is fed and returned from the front. Access to the machine components from both sides facilitates maintenance, while the basic connections include electrical connection and air extraction.
Compact depth with a 2,600 mm working width
Despite its 2,600 mm working width, the PS-35/260 M PLUS has a net depth of 686 mm and a net height of 1,112 mm. This configuration provides a large working width while maintaining a relatively compact machine depth.
The machine has a net weight of 545 kg and a gross weight of 585 kg. Its packed dimensions are 3,430 × 770 × 1,400 mm.
Configuration and options
The PS-35/260 M PLUS is equipped with Nomex ironing belts and speed inverter drive. The optional IMC system provides automatic regulation of ironing speed according to residual moisture.
An optional nickel-plated roll is also available. Electrical options include 440V III 60Hz marine voltage without neutral for electric models and 230V III 50–60Hz.
Applications
With a 2,600 mm working width, a 325 mm roll diameter and theoretical production of up to 60 kg/h with electric heating or 75 kg/h with radiant gas heating, the Fagor PS-35/260 M PLUS is suitable for professional laundry operations requiring a wider working surface and higher flatwork ironing productivity.
The machine can be used for flat linen such as towels, bed sheets, tablecloths, napkins and other flat textile products processed in professional laundry operations.
