Fagor S1000-3300 Compact Flatwork Ironer
The Fagor S1000-3300 belongs to the Compact Polaris range and is designed for drying and ironing flatwork in industrial laundry operations. The Polaris configuration does not include folding equipment, making it suitable for laundry systems where folding is arranged as a separate process.
The machine features a 1,000 mm roll diameter, a 3,300 mm working width and a theoretical production capacity of 250–290 kg/h at 50% moisture. Its working speed can be adjusted from 4 to 18 m/min.
1,000 mm Roll Diameter and 3,300 mm Working Width
The S1000-3300 uses a polished steel roll together with Nomex-quality belts for feeding and ironing. The configuration is designed for feeding and ironing flatwork in industrial laundry environments.
With a 3,300 mm working width, the machine is suited to laundry operations requiring high flatwork processing capacity. The feeding height is 1,050 mm.
Digital Control with 20 Programs
The Fagor S1000-3300 is equipped with digital control and 20 programs. Its working speed can be adjusted from 4 to 18 m/min, allowing the operating process to be configured according to flatwork processing requirements.
The machine uses a frequency inverter for speed control and is equipped with a touchscreen for operation.
Three Heating Options
The S1000-3300 is available with electric, gas or steam heating, allowing the laundry to select a configuration according to its available energy infrastructure:
- Electric heating: 90 kW.
- Gas heating: 155.70 / 159.10 kW.
- Steam heating: 150 kW.
For the gas version, Fagor offers configurations with atmospheric burners or radiant burners. According to the manufacturer's published information, these configurations provide 25% gas consumption savings and 25% higher production.
Extraction and Fume Outlet System
The S1000-3300 features two fume outlets, each with a diameter of 160 mm, with an extraction capacity of 2 × 1,400 m³/h. The extraction system supports moisture removal during the drying and ironing process.
The machine requires a 6.5 bar compressed air connection, with compressed air consumption of 5,000 Nl/h according to the manufacturer's technical specifications.
Polaris Configuration for Drying and Ironing
The defining characteristic of the S1000-3300 is its Polaris configuration, which performs drying and ironing without integrated folding equipment. This makes it suitable for businesses that want to focus the machine on flatwork finishing while arranging folding as a separate process.
Within the Fagor Compact range, Polaris focuses on drying and ironing, while other configurations such as Poseidon and Phoenix provide additional folding functions according to the selected machine configuration.
