Fagor S600-2600 Compact Flatwork Ironer
The Fagor S600-2600 belongs to the Compact Flatwork Ironers range and the Polaris product line, designed for professional flatwork drying and ironing without integrated folding devices.
Within Fagor's Compact range, Polaris is the most focused configuration: it dries and irons flat linen without folding. This makes the S600-2600 suitable for laundries that already have a separate folding process or simply require a dedicated flatwork ironing stage.
600 mm Roll and 2,600 mm Working Width
The S600-2600 features a 600 mm diameter roll and a 2,600 mm working width. Under the manufacturer's test conditions of 50% residual moisture, 140 g/m² cotton and 100% roll utilization, the machine provides a theoretical production of 75–105 kg/h.
The model operates at a working speed of 3–12 m/min, allowing the ironing process to be adjusted according to the textile and operating conditions.
Dedicated Drying and Ironing Configuration
Unlike Phoenix and Poseidon configurations in the Compact range, the S600-2600 does not include integrated folding equipment. Optional feeding and collection solutions can nevertheless be configured to support the overall workflow, including a vacuum table, automatic clamp feeder, rear exit with bypass and small-piece collection systems.
Nomex Feeding and Ironing Belts
The machine uses Nomex-quality feeding and ironing belts, together with a polished steel roll equipped with a finger guard. This configuration supports stable textile feeding and ironing while addressing operational safety requirements.
Digital Control with 20 Programs
The S600-2600 features digital control with 20 programs. Its touchscreen allows programs to be created with speed and temperature settings. The machine also uses a frequency inverter and automatically stops after cooling down to approximately 80°C.
Compressed air connection is required at a pressure of 6.5 bar.
Electric, Gas or Steam Heating
The S600-2600 is available with electric, gas or steam heating. Electric heating is rated at 54 kW, gas heating at 63.30–67.40 kW, and steam heating at 55 kW.
The appropriate heating configuration should be selected according to the laundry's available utilities, operating requirements and production planning.

Who Is the S600-2600 For?
The Fagor S600-2600 is suitable for professional laundries, hotels, hospitals and textile service operations requiring stable flatwork ironing performance in the 75–105 kg/h theoretical production range.
It is particularly appropriate when the operation requires drying and ironing but does not need an integrated folding system. For higher production requirements, the S800 and S1000 Polaris models can be considered. When longitudinal or cross folding needs to be integrated into the machine, Poseidon or Phoenix configurations are more appropriate.
