Fagor S800-2600 Compact Flatwork Ironer
The Fagor S800-2600 belongs to the Compact Flatwork Ironers range and the Polaris Ø800 configuration. It is designed for drying and ironing flatwork without integrated folding equipment.
Compared with the S600 configuration, the S800-2600 uses a larger 800 mm diameter roll and provides a higher theoretical production of 140–175 kg/h, while maintaining a 2,600 mm working width.
800 mm Roll and 2,600 mm Working Width
The S800-2600 features an 800 mm diameter roll and a 2,600 mm working width. Under Fagor's stated test conditions of 50% residual moisture, 140 g/m² cotton and 100% roll utilization, the machine provides a theoretical production of 140–175 kg/h.
The working speed is 3–14 m/min, with the process controlled through the digital touchscreen system.
Polaris Configuration for Drying and Ironing
The Polaris configuration focuses on the two core processes of flatwork finishing: drying and ironing. The S800-2600 does not include folding devices, making it suitable for laundries that handle folding separately or do not require integrated folding.
For operations requiring longitudinal folding, the Poseidon line can be considered. For a more complete configuration incorporating longitudinal and cross folding and stacking, the Phoenix line provides additional functionality.
Nomex Feeding and Ironing Belts
The S800-2600 uses Nomex-quality feeding and ironing belts, together with a polished steel roll fitted with a finger guard.
A frequency inverter is included for controlled operation, while the machine panels are made from white painted steel.
Digital Touchscreen Control
The S800-2600 features digital touchscreen control with 20 programs. Programs can be created with speed and temperature settings.
The machine automatically stops after cooling down to approximately 80°C. A compressed air connection at 6.5 bar is required, with catalogue-listed consumption of 5,000 Nl/h.
Electric, Gas or Steam Heating
The S800-2600 is available with three heating configurations:
- Electric heating: 72 kW.
- Gas heating: 86.95–91.70 kW.
- Steam heating: 85 kW.
For gas-heated versions, Fagor specifies two burner configurations: atmospheric burners and radiant burners. The manufacturer states 25% gas consumption savings and 25% higher production for these versions.
High-Capacity Exhaust System
The S800-2600 features two 160 mm fume outlets with an extraction rate of 2 × 1,400 m³/h. This provides a substantially higher extraction rate than the S600 configuration.
The machine measures 3,790 × 1,770 × 2,200 mm and has a net weight of 2,350 kg.

Who Is the S800-2600 For?
The Fagor S800-2600 is suitable for professional laundries, hotels, hospitals and textile service operations requiring a theoretical production of 140–175 kg/h with a 2,600 mm working width and an 800 mm diameter roll.
Compared with the S600-2600, it is the appropriate configuration when higher production is required within the same 2,600 mm working width. For a wider working width, the S800-3300 can be considered. When integrated folding is required, Poseidon or Phoenix configurations provide the corresponding functionality.
