Fagor SP600-3300 Industrial Flatwork Ironer – Compact Poseidon Ø600
The Fagor SP600-3300 belongs to the Compact Flatwork Ironers range, a compact industrial flatwork ironing range developed for drying and ironing flat linen while providing efficient use of space and flexible production configurations.
The SP600-3300 is part of the Poseidon Ø600 configuration, featuring a 600 mm diameter roll and a 3,300 mm working width. Compared with the SP600-2600, this model provides a wider working width and higher theoretical production for operations handling larger flat linen and higher throughput requirements.
3,300 mm Working Width and 110–140 kg/h Production
The SP600-3300 combines a 3,300 mm working width with a 600 mm diameter roll. According to the manufacturer's technical documentation, theoretical production is 110–140 kg/h under the specified test conditions.
The working speed is adjustable from 3 to 12 m/min, allowing the ironing process to be adapted to the selected program and linen characteristics.
The machine has a 1,050 mm floor-feeding height for the linen introduction area.
Poseidon Configuration for Drying, Ironing and Longitudinal Folding
Unlike Phoenix, the more complete Fagor configuration with longitudinal and cross folding and stacking options, Poseidon is focused on drying, ironing and longitudinal folding.
The SP600-3300 can operate with one or two working lanes. Its longitudinal folding system provides one or two folds depending on the selected configuration.
The folding system uses photocells and compressed air to control the folding process. An optional increased air pressure system is available for thicker linen.
Cross folding is not included in the basic technical configuration of the SP600-3300. However, Fagor specifies an optional transverse folder with stacker for one lane, depending on the selected configuration.
Polished Steel Roll and Linen Feeding System
The SP600-3300 features a polished steel roll with a finger guard. The feeding and ironing belts use Nomex material, designed for operation under high-temperature ironing conditions.
A frequency inverter is used to control machine movement and adjust working speed according to the selected operating program.
Digital Control with 20 Programs
The SP600-3300 uses digital control and provides 20 programs. Operators can configure the machine according to the requirements of different linen-processing procedures.
The Poseidon control system allows the operator to manage speed, temperature and folding parameters, helping standardize operation across different linen-processing cycles.
Electric, Gas or Steam Heating
Fagor offers the SP600-3300 with three heating options: electric, gas and steam, allowing the machine configuration to be matched to the available energy infrastructure.
- Electric heating: 54 kW heating power and 55.9 kW total electrical power.
- Gas heating: 80.30 / 86.30 kW heating power and 1.9 kW total electrical power.
- Steam heating: 75 kW heating power and 1.9 kW total electrical power.
Compressed Air and Fume Extraction
The folding system requires compressed air at 6.5 bar, with air consumption specified at 7,000 Nl/h.
The SP600-3300 has two fume outlets with a 120 mm diameter. The technical documentation specifies an extraction airflow of 2 × 630 m³/h for this model.
Who Is the Fagor SP600-3300 For?
The Fagor SP600-3300 is suitable for industrial laundries, professional laundry operations, hotels, hospitals and other facilities requiring high-volume flat linen processing with a 3,300 mm working width.
It is particularly suitable when the operation requires a Poseidon configuration focused on drying, ironing and longitudinal folding, rather than a full folding and stacking workflow such as the Phoenix configuration.
SP600-3300 vs. SP600-2600
Both models belong to the Poseidon Ø600 configuration and share a similar operating concept. The key difference is working width and theoretical production:
- SP600-2600: 2,600 mm working width and 75–105 kg/h theoretical production.
- SP600-3300: 3,300 mm working width and 110–140 kg/h theoretical production.
Therefore, when a business requires a wider working area and higher production within the Poseidon Ø600 configuration, the SP600-3300 provides the larger format.
