Fagor SP800-2600 Industrial Flatwork Ironer – Compact Poseidon Ø800
The Fagor SP800-2600 belongs to the Compact Flatwork Ironers range, designed to combine drying, ironing and longitudinal folding in a compact industrial configuration.
The SP800-2600 is part of the Poseidon Ø800 configuration, featuring an 800 mm diameter roll and a 2,600 mm working width. Compared with the Ø600 Poseidon models at the same working width, the Ø800 configuration provides a larger roll diameter and higher theoretical production.
800 mm Roll and 140–175 kg/h Production
The SP800-2600 features an 800 mm diameter roll with a 2,600 mm working width. According to Fagor's technical documentation, theoretical production is 140–175 kg/h under the specified test conditions of 50% residual moisture, 140 g/m² cotton and 100% roll utilization.
The working speed ranges from 3 to 14 m/min, allowing the ironing process to be adjusted according to the selected program and linen characteristics.
The floor-feeding height is 1,050 mm for continuous linen feeding.
Poseidon for Drying, Ironing and Longitudinal Folding
Within the Fagor Compact range, Poseidon is positioned between Phoenix and Polaris in terms of process configuration:
- Phoenix: drying, ironing, longitudinal folding, cross folding and optional stacking.
- Poseidon: drying, ironing and longitudinal folding.
- Polaris: drying and ironing without a folding system.
The SP800-2600 can operate with one or two working lanes. The longitudinal folding system provides one or two folds according to the selected configuration.
Cross folding is not included in the basic technical configuration. Fagor does, however, offer an optional transverse folder with stacker for one lane, depending on the selected configuration.
Photocell-Controlled Longitudinal Folding
The longitudinal folding system uses photocells and compressed air to control the folding process. An optional increased air pressure system is available for thicker linen.
This configuration allows the machine to integrate drying, ironing and longitudinal folding into a continuous flatwork processing workflow.
Nomex Belts and Polished Steel Roll
The SP800-2600 uses Nomex material for the feeding and ironing belts. The roll is made of polished steel and includes a finger guard in the working area.
A frequency inverter controls machine movement and allows the working speed to be adjusted within the model's 3–14 m/min operating range.
Digital Control with 20 Programs
The SP800-2600 features digital control with 20 programs. The control system allows operating parameters to be configured according to different linen-processing requirements.
Speed, temperature and folding-related parameters can be managed through the Poseidon control system to support consistent operation.
Electric, Gas or Steam Heating
Fagor offers three heating configurations for the SP800-2600: electric, gas and steam.
- Electric heating: 72 kW heating power and 74.2 kW total electrical power.
- Gas heating: 86.95 kW for natural gas or 91.70 kW for LPG, with 2.2 kW total electrical power.
- Steam heating: 85 kW heating power and 2.2 kW total electrical power.
The gas model uses a BSP 1" gas inlet. The steam model uses a BSP 1" steam inlet and a BSP 1/2" condensate outlet.
Compressed Air and Fume Extraction
The SP800-2600 requires compressed air at 6.5 bar, with air consumption specified at 9,000 Nl/h.
The machine has two fume outlets with a 160 mm diameter. The specified extraction airflow is 2 × 1,400 m³/h.

- SP800-2600: 800 mm roll, 3–14 m/min working speed and 140–175 kg/h theoretical production.
The SP800-2600 is therefore the higher-production Ø800 configuration for businesses requiring a 2,600 mm working width within the Poseidon range.
