Fagor SP800-3300 Industrial Flatwork Ironer – Compact Poseidon Ø800
The Fagor SP800-3300 belongs to the Compact Flatwork Ironers range, designed to combine drying, ironing and longitudinal folding in a compact industrial configuration.
The SP800-3300 is part of the Poseidon Ø800 configuration, featuring an 800 mm diameter roll and a 3,300 mm working width. It is designed for flatwork operations requiring a wider working format and higher production within the Poseidon range.
800 mm Roll, 3,300 mm Working Width and 180–220 kg/h Production
The SP800-3300 features an 800 mm diameter roll and a 3,300 mm working width. According to Fagor's technical documentation, theoretical production is 180–220 kg/h under the specified conditions of 50% residual moisture, 140 g/m² cotton and 100% roll utilization.
The working speed ranges from 3 to 14 m/min, allowing the ironing process to be adjusted according to the selected program, temperature and linen characteristics.
The floor-feeding height is 1,050 mm for continuous linen feeding.
Poseidon for Drying, Ironing and Longitudinal Folding
Within the Fagor Compact range, Poseidon is designed for drying, ironing and longitudinal folding. This differentiates it from Phoenix, which provides a more complete folding configuration with longitudinal folding, cross folding and optional stacking.
- Phoenix: drying, ironing, longitudinal folding, cross folding and optional stacking.
- Poseidon: drying, ironing and longitudinal folding.
- Polaris: drying and ironing without a folding system.
The SP800-3300 can operate with one or two working lanes. One lane can be used for sheets, while two lanes can be used for table linen or smaller pieces.
Photocell and Compressed-Air Folding
The longitudinal folding system uses photocells and compressed air and supports one or two longitudinal folds according to the selected lane configuration.
For thicker linen, Fagor offers an optional increased air-pressure system for longitudinal folds.
Cross folding is not included in the basic technical configuration. However, Fagor lists an optional transverse folder with stacker for one lane, depending on the selected configuration.
Nomex Belts and Polished Steel Roll
The SP800-3300 uses Nomex material for the feeding and ironing belts. The ironing roll is made of polished steel and includes a finger guard.
A frequency inverter controls machine movement, with a model-specific working speed range of 3–14 m/min.
Digital Control with 20 Programs
The SP800-3300 features digital control with 20 programs. The system allows operating parameters to be configured for different types of flat linen.
The Poseidon control system manages speed, temperature and folding parameters to support consistent operation.
Electric, Gas or Steam Heating
The SP800-3300 is available with electric, gas or steam heating.
- Electric heating: 72 kW heating power and 74.2 kW total electrical power.
- Gas heating: 124.70 / 124.10 kW heating power and 2.2 kW total electrical power.
- Steam heating: 110 kW heating power and 2.2 kW total electrical power.
The gas model uses a BSP 1" inlet. The steam model uses a BSP 1" steam inlet and a BSP 1/2" condensate outlet.
Compressed Air and Fume Extraction
The SP800-3300 requires compressed air at 6.5 bar, with air consumption specified at 9,000 Nl/h.
The machine has two 160 mm fume outlets and a specified extraction airflow of 2 × 1,400 m³/h.
Configuration Options
Fagor provides several options for adapting the SP800-3300 to different laundry workflows, including:
- One-lane linen feeder with vacuum table.
- Vacuum table.
- Rear exit with bypass.
- Motorized rear exit.
- Two-lane or four-lane napkin receivers.
- Folder bypass.
- Integrated dirty or damaged linen rejection system.
- Increased air pressure for longitudinal folds on thicker linen.
- Transverse folder with stacker for one lane.
- Special voltage configuration.
Who Is the Fagor SP800-3300 For?
The SP800-3300 is suitable for industrial laundries, hotels, hospitals and professional laundry facilities requiring high-volume flatwork processing with a 3,300 mm working width.
It is particularly suited to operations requiring higher production while maintaining the Poseidon workflow focused on drying, ironing and longitudinal folding.
SP800-3300 vs. SP800-2600
Both models use an 800 mm diameter roll and belong to the Compact Poseidon range. The main differences are working width, production and overall dimensions:
- SP800-2600: 2,600 mm working width and 140–175 kg/h theoretical production.
- SP800-3300: 3,300 mm working width and 180–220 kg/h theoretical production.
The SP800-3300 is therefore the wider-format and higher-production option within the Poseidon Ø800 configuration.
