Fagor SPE800-3300 Compact Flatwork Ironer
The Fagor SPE800-3300 belongs to the Compact Flatwork Ironers range and the Phoenix Ø800 configuration. It combines drying, ironing, longitudinal folding and cross folding, with an optional side stacker.
The machine combines an 800 mm diameter roll with a 3,300 mm working width, making it suitable for professional laundries processing large volumes of flat linen.
Phoenix – the complete Compact configuration
Within Fagor's Compact Flatwork Ironers range, the SPE models are the most complete configurations, providing drying, ironing and full longitudinal and cross folding in one or two lanes, with an optional stacker.
- Phoenix: drying, ironing, longitudinal folding, cross folding and optional stacking.
- Poseidon: drying, ironing and up to two longitudinal folds.
- Polaris: drying and ironing without folding.
The SPE800-3300 is therefore intended for laundries requiring a more complete flatwork finishing process within one integrated machine.
800 mm roll and 3,300 mm working width
The SPE800-3300 features an 800 mm diameter roll and a 3,300 mm working width, with theoretical production of 180–220 kg/h.
Fagor specifies this production under reference conditions of 50% residual moisture, 140 g/m² cotton and 100% roll utilization. Actual production depends on linen moisture, fabric type and operating conditions.
The model-specific working speed is 3–14 m/min.
Longitudinal and cross folding
The SPE800-3300 can operate with one or two working lanes. With one lane, it provides 1–2 primary folds and up to 3 cross folds. With two lanes, it provides 1–2 primary folds and 1–2 cross folds.
Folding is performed using photocells and compressed air. An optional higher air pressure system is available for longitudinal folding of thicker linen.
Optional side stacking
The machine can be equipped with two types of side stacker. The number of stacked items can be programmed, and the stacker can be positioned on either side of the machine.
The Compact stacker can stack up to 5 tablecloths or 10 bedsheets. The standard stacker can stack up to 10–15 tablecloths or 10 bedsheets.
Digital control with 20 programs
The SPE800-3300 features digital touchscreen control. Programs can be created according to speed and temperature, with 20 programs available.
A frequency inverter controls the machine operation, while the model-specific working speed ranges from 3 to 14 m/min.
Polished steel roll and Nomex-quality belts
- Polished steel roll with finger guard.
- Nomex-quality feeding and ironing belts.

- Electric, gas or steam heating.
- Compressed-air connection required at 6.5 bar.
Two gas burner versions
For the Phoenix Ø800 configuration, Fagor offers two versions for gas-heated models: atmospheric burners and radiant burners. According to the manufacturer's documentation, these versions provide 25% gas consumption savings and 25% more production.
This information is stated specifically for the Phoenix Ø800 and Ø1000 configurations and should not be generalized to other Compact configurations without corresponding manufacturer documentation.
Compact design for professional laundries
The Compact range is designed to integrate multiple flatwork finishing operations into one machine while making efficient use of available floor space. The SPE800-3300 can also be configured with a rear exit and bypass to suit the laundry production layout.
Additional options include a vacuum table, automatic one-lane clamp feeder, rear collectors for small pieces, linen reject system, special tension, remote service and a maintenance kit.
Who is the SPE800-3300 for?
The SPE800-3300 is suitable for industrial laundries, hotel laundries, hospitals and other professional facilities processing significant volumes of flat linen, especially where larger linen widths and integrated ironing and folding are required.
Within the Phoenix Ø800 configuration, the SPE800-3300 is the appropriate choice when a 3,300 mm working width is required. The SPE800-2600 provides the same configuration with a 2,600 mm working width.
